Human Ubiquitin Conjugating Enzyme E2L3 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Ube2L3/UBCH7 (Ubiquitin Conjugating Enzyme E2L3) in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate to which an antibody specific for Ube2L3/UBCH7 has been immobilised. Standards and test samples are added to the wells; following incubation and washing, a Biotinylated Anti-Ube2L3/UBCH7 Antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate are applied sequentially. TMB substrate is then used to visualise the HRP enzymatic reaction, producing a blue colour that turns yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution. The intensity of yellow is proportional to the amount of Ube2L3/UBCH7 captured in each well, and the concentration is calculated by reading the optical density at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader against the standard curve.

The working assay range is 0.156–10 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.072 ng/ml, and the total assay time is approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. The kit is intended for use with human samples and is read on a colorimetric microplate reader. Kit components include a pre-coated microplate, lyophilised standard, detection solutions A and B, wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and plate sealers. Components should be stored at +4°C or –20°C as instructed and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
