Human Solute Carrier Family 26, Member 4 ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this Human SLC26A4 ELISA Kit is a sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human SLC26A4 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microtiter plate bearing an antibody specific for SLC26A4. Standards and samples are added and bound by the immobilised antibody; after washing, a Biotinylated Anti-SLC26A4 Antibody is added, followed by HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate. The resulting yellow product is read at 450 nm and its intensity is proportional to SLC26A4 concentration.

The product range is 0.312-20 ng/ml and sensitivity is <0.121 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m on a colourimetric pre-coated microplate (12 x 8 well strips). Components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and not used past expiration. Spike-and-recovery (n=5) averaged 91% in serum (range 80%-102%), 91% in EDTA plasma (81%-101%) and 84% in heparin plasma (80%-89%). Dilution linearity at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 was: serum 87-91%, 87-107%, 74-101%, 92-97%; EDTA plasma 90-105%, 84-101%, 90-101%, 79-108%; heparin plasma 84-95%, 92-105%, 82-105%, 89-91%.
