Human Paraneoplastic Antigen MA2 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human MA2 (Paraneoplastic Antigen MA2) in tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) is pre-coated with a capture antibody specific for MA2; standards and samples are added, followed by a biotinylated anti-MA2 detection antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. The HRP enzymatic reaction is visualised with TMB substrate, producing a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of stop solution; absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The quantitative assay has a sensitivity of <0.058 ng/ml and a working range of 0.156–10 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Spike-and-recovery performance has been validated in serum (range 80%–102%, average 91%), EDTA plasma (81%–100%, average 90%) and heparin plasma (80%–89%, average 84%), with consistent linearity demonstrated across serial dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16 in each matrix (n=5).
