Human N-Acetyl Beta-D-Glucosaminidase ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of human N-Acetyl Beta-D-Glucosaminidase (MGEA5/OGA) in urine. The assay uses the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique, in which an antibody specific to the target has been pre-coated onto a 96-well microplate. Standards and test samples are added to the wells, the target is captured by the immobilised antibody, and bound target is detected sequentially with a Biotinylated Anti-MGEA5/OGA Antibody, an HRP-Avidin conjugate, and TMB substrate. Addition of the acidic stop solution produces a yellow product whose optical density, measured at 450 nm, is proportional to target concentration and is calculated against a standard curve.

The colourmetric microplate-reader-based protocol is completed in 4 hours 30 minutes. Sensitivity is 0.55 ng/ml and the assay working range is 1.56–100 ng/ml. Kit components should be stored at +4 °C or −20 °C as instructed and the product must not be used past its expiration date.
