Human Lysosomal Associated Membrane Protein 2 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com enables the in vitro quantitative determination of human LAMP2 in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. An antibody specific for LAMP2 is pre-coated onto a 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips. Standards and samples are added and any LAMP2 present is captured by the immobilised antibody. After washing, a biotinylated anti-LAMP2 detection antibody is added, followed by an HRP-avidin conjugate. The enzymatic reaction is visualised with TMB substrate, producing a blue-coloured product that turns yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution; absorbance is read at 450 nm in a microplate reader and the LAMP2 concentration is calculated against a standard curve.

The assay has a working range of 62.5-4000 pg/ml and a sensitivity of <23.5 pg/ml, with a total run time of 4h 30m. Reported recovery values are 80%-102% (average 91%) in serum (n=5), 81%-100% (average 90%) in EDTA plasma (n=5) and 80%-89% (average 84%) in heparin plasma (n=5). Dilution linearity data cover 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma (n=5 per sample type).
