Human Keratin 81 ELISA Kit

This sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human KRT81 in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The kit employs the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique, with an antibody specific for KRT81 pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and test samples are added to the wells, where KRT81 is captured by the immobilized antibody. Following incubation with Biotinylated Anti-KRT81 Antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate, TMB substrate produces a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of stop solution, with absorbance measured at 450nm to quantify KRT81 concentration.

The assay provides a sensitivity of <0.053 ng/ml across an assay range of 0.156-10 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m and colourimetric detection. Reported average recovery values are 93% in serum (range 84%-102%, n=5), 95% in EDTA plasma (range 91%-100%, n=5), and 95% in Heparin plasma (range 92%-98%, n=5). Linearity has been demonstrated across serial dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 in serum, EDTA plasma, and Heparin plasma. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.
