Human Kallikrein 13 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Kallikrein 13 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids. Supplied by Antibodies.com, the kit employs the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique in which an antibody specific for Kallikrein 13 is pre-coated onto a 96-well microplate. Standards and samples are added, followed by a Biotinylated Anti-Kallikrein 13 Antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. After washing, TMB substrate is added and the enzymatic reaction produces a blue colour that turns yellow upon addition of the acidic stop solution. The intensity of the yellow colour is proportional to the amount of Kallikrein 13 captured in each well, and the concentration is calculated by reading the O.D. absorbance at 450 nm in a microplate reader against a standard curve.

The assay has a sensitivity of 0.044 ng/ml and a working range of 0.156–10 ng/ml. Detection is colourimetric on a pre-coated microplate platform (12 x 8 well strips), and the total assay time is approximately 4 h 30 m. Kit components include a Pre-Coated 96 Well Microplate, Lyophilized Standard, Detection Solution A, Detection Solution B, Wash Buffer (30X), Sample Dilution Buffer, TMB Substrate, Stop Solution and plate sealers.
