Human Interleukin-17A ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Interleukin-17A (IL-17A) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, and other biological fluids. It applies a quantitative sandwich immunoassay technique using a pre-coated microplate (12 x 8 well strips) and is read on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The assay recognises both natural and recombinant human IL-17A and has shown no cross-reactivity with other cytokines tested. It includes two calibration diluents — Calibrator Diluent I for serum/plasma testing and Calibrator Diluent II for cell culture supernatant testing — with a provided standard diluted 2-fold with the appropriate diluent and assayed alongside samples to produce a standard curve of optical density versus IL-17A concentration (pg/mL).

Sensitivity is reported as < 5 pg/ml, with an assay range of 5–1000 pg/ml. The kit is shipped and stored at 4°C.
