Human Insulin Receptor ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com designed for the quantitative in vitro determination of human Insulin Receptor in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 × 8 well strips) and a biotinylated anti-Insulin Receptor detection antibody followed by an HRP-avidin conjugate, with the enzymatic reaction visualised using TMB substrate and read as absorbance at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The standard curve covers a product range of 1.56–100 ng/ml with a sensitivity of 0.58 ng/ml, and the full protocol takes 4 h 30 min. Kit components are stored at +4 °C or −20 °C as instructed in the protocol manual. In validation work (n=5), average recovery values were 91% (range 80%–102%) for serum, 90% (81%–100%) for EDTA plasma and 84% (80%–89%) for heparin plasma. Linearity has been demonstrated across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions for each of these sample types.
