Human Glutamate Receptor, Ionotropic, N-Methyl-D-Aspartate 2C ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com, designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human GluN2C in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay employs a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, with a GluN2C-specific capture antibody immobilised on the plate. Standards and samples are added, followed by a Biotinylated Anti-GluN2C detection antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is used to visualise the enzymatic reaction, producing a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of the acidic stop solution; absorbance is read at 450 nm in a microplate reader and the GluN2C concentration is calculated by reference to the standard curve.

The kit has a reported sensitivity of 0.118 ng/ml and an assay range of 0.312–20 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m. Supplied components include the pre-coated microplate, lyophilised standard, Detection Solutions A and B, 30X Wash Buffer, Sample Dilution Buffer, TMB Substrate, Stop Solution, and adhesive plate sealers.
