Human Gastrin Releasing Peptide ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this competitive Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (cELISA) is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Gastrin Releasing Peptide in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, with reactivity confirmed for human samples.

The assay employs a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips. Sample or standard analyte competes with immobilised Gastrin Releasing Peptide antigen for binding sites on a biotinylated anti-Gastrin Releasing Peptide antibody. After washing, an HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate are added; colour development is inversely proportional to analyte concentration and is read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader. Reported total assay time is 2 hours 30 minutes.

The standard product range is 15.6–1000 pg/ml with a sensitivity of 4.64 pg/ml. Reported recovery averages across sample matrices (n=5) are 91% for serum, 96% for EDTA plasma and 95% for heparin plasma, with dilution linearity data provided at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions for each matrix.
