Human G Protein Coupled Receptor 120 ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) enables the in vitro quantitative determination of human G Protein Coupled Receptor 120 (GPCR GPR120) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids. The kit uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 × 8 well strips) with a GPCR GPR120-specific capture antibody. Standards and samples are added to the wells, followed by a Biotinylated Anti-GPCR GPR120 Antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate; TMB substrate produces a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of stop solution, with absorbance read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The assay has a total run time of 4 hours 30 minutes, a measuring range of 0.625–40 ng/ml and a sensitivity of 0.224 ng/ml. Recovery has been validated in serum (n=5, range 83–100%, average 91%), EDTA plasma (n=5, range 90–98%, average 94%) and heparin plasma (n=5, range 90–99%, average 94%). Linearity of dilution has also been demonstrated across 1:2 to 1:16 sample dilutions for the same three matrices.
