Human Fibroblast Growth Factor Receptor 1 ELISA Kit

Designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Fibroblast Growth Factor Receptor 1 (FGFR1), this sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com is suitable for tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate with immobilised anti-FGFR1 antibody, followed by a biotinylated anti-FGFR1 detection antibody, HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate; the colour change is read at 450 nm in a microplate reader.

According to the manufacturer, the kit detects FGFR1 with a sensitivity of 0.057 ng/ml across an assay range of 0.156–10 ng/ml, with a typical run time of 4 hours 30 minutes. In testing (n=5), average recovery was 91% from serum (range 80–102%), 90% from EDTA plasma (81–100%) and 84% from heparin plasma (80–89%). Dilution-linearity data are supplied for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions.
