Description

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) enables the in vitro quantitative determination of human Dopamine Receptor D1 in tissue homogenates, cell lysates or other biological fluids. It is reactive with human samples and is provided on a pre-coated microplate platform.

The assay uses a colourimetric readout on a microplate reader. Standards and samples are captured by an immobilised anti-Dopamine Receptor D1 antibody and detected using a biotinylated anti-Dopamine Receptor D1 antibody, an HRP-avidin conjugate, and TMB substrate; the enzymatic reaction yields a yellow product upon addition of the acidic stop solution. The concentration of Dopamine Receptor D1 is calculated from the absorbance read at 450 nm against the standard curve. The stated assay range is 0.312–20 ng/ml with a sensitivity of 0.109 ng/ml, and the total assay time is 4 h 30 min. Kit components should be stored at +4 °C or -20 °C as instructed, and the kit must not be used past its expiration date.

Reported average recovery values across serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma (each n=5) were 80–102% in serum, 81–100% in EDTA plasma, and 80–89% in heparin plasma. Across dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16, the observed ranges were: serum 74–107%, EDTA plasma 79–108%, and heparin plasma 82–105%.
