From Antibodies.com, this Human DAOA/G72 ELISA Kit is a sandwich enzyme immunoassay intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of human DAOA/G72 in tissue homogenates, cell lysates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a 96-well pre-coated microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips. A biotinylated anti-DAOA/G72 detection antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate are used, with TMB substrate producing a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of the stop solution; absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader and the concentration calculated against a standard curve.

Stated sensitivity is 0.061 ng/ml and the working assay range is 0.156-10 ng/ml. Total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. Reported average recovery values are 91% for serum (range 80%-102%), 90% for EDTA plasma (range 81%-100%) and 84% for heparin plasma (range 80%-89%), each based on n=5. Dilution linearity is reported for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16.
