Human Casein Beta ELISA Kit

Supplied by Antibodies.com within their Assays and Kits range, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human beta Casein in breast milk or other biological fluids. The procedure uses a pre-coated microplate, a biotinylated anti-beta Casein detection antibody, HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

Stated sensitivity is <27 ng/ml with an assay range of 78.1-5000 ng/ml. Total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. Storage is at +4°C or -20°C as instructed per item, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.

Components include a pre-coated microplate, lyophilized standard, detection solutions A and B, wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and plate sealers. Reported recovery in serum samples was 80%-102% (average 91%), in EDTA plasma 81%-100% (average 90%), and in heparin plasma 80%-89% (average 84%).
