HOT FIREPol® Multiplex qPCR Mix (ROX)

A 5x concentrated qPCR master mix from Solis BioDyne, optimized for amplifying up to 4 targets in a single reaction in real-time quantitative PCR assays. It is designed for DNA hydrolysis probes based on 5' flap endonuclease activity and contains HOT FIREPol® DNA Polymerase, optimized buffer components, ultrapure dNTPs (including dUTP), MgCl2, and ROX passive reference dye. The mix is compatible with both low-ROX and high-ROX system requirements, and a version without passive reference dye or with Purple reference dye is also available.

The 5x formulation provides 15 mM MgCl2, giving 3 mM in a 1x PCR solution. The dUTP in the mix allows UNG treatment to prevent carryover contamination from previous runs; UNG is not included in the product and must be purchased separately. The polymerase is activated by a 10-minute incubation at 95°C, which prevents extension of non-specifically annealed primers and primer-dimers formed at low temperatures during reaction setup. Listed applications include detection and quantification of DNA and cDNA targets, profiling gene expression, microbial detection, and viral load determination.

Routine storage is -18°C to -28°C, and shipping or temporary storage for up to 1 month at room temperature has no detrimental effects on product quality. The mix is manufactured by Solis BioDyne under ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 certified quality management systems and is supplied for research use only, not for use in diagnostic procedures.
