HOT FIREPol® Multiplex qPCR Mix (Purple)

A 5x probe-based multiplex qPCR master mix from Solis BioDyne, formulated for standard cycling protocols. The liquid master mix is intended for research use only.

The mix contains HOT FIREPol DNA Polymerase together with magnesium chloride, glycerol, deoxyribonucleotide triphosphates (dATP, dCTP, dGTP, dTTP and dUTP), and a purple tracking dye in an aqueous base. According to the manufacturer's safety data sheet, water is present at <96% w/w, glycerol at <3% and MgCl2 at <1%, with each of the remaining components at below 0.1% w/w. The product also contains fish gelatin as a component of animal origin. The mixture has a stated pH range of 7.0 to 9.0 and is classified as not hazardous to health or the environment under CLP regulation, with no pictograms or signal words required on the label.

For routine storage the product should be kept at -28°C to -18°C in its original container until the end of its shelf life. The product is chemically stable under normal conditions and is manufactured by Solis BioDyne OÜ in Tartu, Estonia. Users are advised to handle all chemicals with caution and to wear personal protective equipment including nitrile rubber gloves and safety glasses with side shields.
