Gentle Cell Dissociation Reagent cGMP

A gentle cell dissociation reagent manufactured under cGMP standards by STEMCELL Technologies for laboratory use. The product is supplied as a clear liquid and is intended for preparing single-cell suspensions from human pluripotent stem cell (PSC)-derived epithelial cultures, supporting downstream applications that include flow cytometry analysis, cell sorting, immunophenotyping, and purity assessment.

The reagent is suitable for dissociating epithelial cultures grown as 2D monolayers, as monolayers on transwell inserts, and as organoids, including dome cultures set in an extracellular matrix such as Matrigel®. An optional paraformaldehyde (PFA) fixation step is described for protocols where intracellular markers are being assessed or where the analysis will be performed at a later time. It is referenced within the STEMdiff™ epithelial differentiation workflow.

The mixture is classified as not hazardous according to Regulation (EC) 1272/2008 [CLP], is not considered a hazardous substance or mixture under the Globally Harmonized System (GHS), and is not considered hazardous by the 2012 OSHA Hazard Communication Standard (29 CFR 1910.1200). The product contains no substances which at their given concentration are considered to be hazardous to health. Storage is in accordance with the information listed on the Product Information Sheet.
