FastLane Cell SYBR Green Kit (200)

QIAGEN's one-step SYBR Green RT-PCR kit for cultured cells accelerates gene expression analysis by eliminating the need for RNA purification, allowing direct work from cell lysates. Designed for high-throughput applications such as validation of siRNA-mediated gene knockdown, the workflow is reduced to three steps from cells to real-time RT-PCR, with FastLane lysate ready as PCR template in 12 minutes.

Optimised reagents support both 96- and 384-well plate formats. A unique RT-PCR buffer prevents the formation of nonspecific products and primer–dimers, while a gDNA Wipeout Buffer ensures only RNA is detected. Documented benefits include high specificity in SYBR Green quantification, sensitive detection of low-abundance transcripts, reproducible results in high-throughput analysis, and results unaffected by genomic DNA contamination. Specific transcript detection is supported when the kit is combined with QuantiTect Primer Assays.

The kit comprises the FastLane Cell One-Step Buffer Set and FastLane Cell SYBR Green RT-PCR Mixes. In a reported 96-well experiment using HeLa ACC cells with a QuantiTect Primer Assay for INPP5D, the kit delivered a mean CT of 29.33 with a CV of 1.02% across n=92 replicates.
