EpiCult Plus Medium

From STEMCELL Technologies, this serum- and BPE-free culture medium is designed for the expansion of epithelial stem cells from human, mouse, and rat tissues, including mammary, prostate, and other stratified and pseudostratified epithelial tissues. Epithelial cells cultured in this medium can be expanded through multiple passages for more than 30 population doublings, though some human mammary cell cultures may require the addition of fetal bovine serum.

The medium is not recommended for human keratinocytes or primary human airway cells. Preparation of the complete medium requires Hydrocortisone Stock Solution.
