A benchtop magnetic rack from STEMCELL Technologies that holds up to 4 EasySep magnets side by side for simultaneous immunomagnetic cell separation. Researchers load 5 mL polystyrene tubes (12 x 75 mm format) containing EasySep antibody complexes and magnetic particles into each magnet cavity, then leave the assembly undisturbed so labeled cells migrate toward the tube wall. After roughly 2 to 5 minutes, the supernatant is decanted in one motion, yielding untouched target cells or depleted fractions depending on the selection strategy. The unit processes four samples concurrently, fitting routine workflows in immunology, transplant, and regenerative medicine laboratories that run multiple parallel preparations per session. Construction is solvent-resistant for routine surface wipe-down with 70% ethanol, and the open frame footprint suits biosafety cabinet use. Compatible with EasySep kits that target human, mouse, rat, and non-human primate samples for downstream flow cytometry, cell culture, or further purification steps.
