EasySep EasyStand x 6

A linkable accessory stand from STEMCELL Technologies, the EasySep™ EasyStand™ is designed to facilitate magnetic cell separation when used with the EasySep™ Magnet. Each unit holds a single EasySep™ Magnet, and the units can be linked together — up to 6 individual EasySep™ EasyStands™ may be connected — so that, after each round of magnetic separation, the supernatants from all samples are poured off simultaneously into receiving tubes. The handle, which can be attached to either the left or right side of the stand, is gripped firmly and gradually tilted toward the user during the pour-off step, leaving the magnets and tubes inverted for 2 - 3 seconds before being returned upright.

The stand is intended for use with 14 mL tubes (without cap); 14 mL polystyrene round-bottom tubes are recommended. Storage conditions are 15 - 25°C. After use, the EasySep™ EasyStand™ and EasySep™ Magnets are wiped clean with distilled water and then with alcohol to dry; for disinfection, 10% diluted household bleach may be applied, followed by a wipe with a water-dampened cloth to avoid corrosion of metal parts. Magnets should not be submerged in liquid.
