Cryostor CS10, 5x10mL Bundle

A serum-free, animal component-free, defined cryopreservation medium from STEMCELL Technologies, CryoStor CS10 is engineered to safeguard mammalian cells during freezing and long-term biobanking. The formulation combines 10% DMSO as the permeating cryoprotectant with a panel of stabilizers that mitigate osmotic shock, dehydration stress, and free radical damage experienced during controlled-rate freezing and subsequent storage at -80°C or in liquid nitrogen vapor phase.

Supplied as a 5 x 10 mL bundle of single-use vials, the medium is ready-to-use and supports GMP-compatible cell therapy manufacturing workflows by removing the lot-to-lot variability associated with traditional DMSO-in-serum cocktails. It is widely adopted for cryopreservation of hematopoietic progenitor cells, T lymphocytes, mesenchymal stromal cells, induced pluripotent stem cells, and other primary or engineered cell populations used in regenerative medicine research, adoptive immunotherapy pipelines, and cord-blood or mobilized peripheral blood-derived progenitor cell banking.

For best results, pre-cool the medium to 4°C and add cell suspensions dropwise in an equal volume to minimize osmotic gradient spikes. Store refrigerated, protect from light, and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles by preparing working aliquots on first use. Each vial is intended as a single-use format for research use only and downstream cell processing applications, including T-cell product preservation for autologous and allogeneic cell therapy pipelines.
