Supporting single-cell cloning of human pluripotent stem cells (hPSCs), this defined, serum-free supplement from STEMCELL Technologies prevents the apoptosis that normally occurs when hPSCs are dissociated into single cells. CloneR enables efficient clonal survival and expansion during workflows such as CRISPR-mediated gene editing, line generation, and reporter line creation.

The animal component-free formulation is compatible with both embryonic and induced pluripotent stem cells maintained in feeder-free or defined culture systems. CloneR is supplied as a frozen 5 mL vial intended for use at a 1X working concentration in standard culture media and should be stored at -20 °C for long-term stability.
