Cell Scraper, Scraper Blade, 39 cm

Designed by STEMCELL Technologies, this long-handled scraper features a 39 cm acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) handle paired with a flexible thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) blade. The blade is positioned parallel to the handle and scrapes with a windshield-wiper motion, making the tool ideal for harvesting cells or cell lysates without damaging cells or scratching vessel surfaces. It is well suited for use with tissue culture-treated dishes and cell culture flasks, and the extended 39 cm length allows access to deep or large culture vessels, supporting production workflows and large-format cultureware where reach and consistency matter. The scraper blade provides even pressure distribution for reliable cell detachment.

The handle and blade materials meet USP, Class VI requirements, and all material resins are qualified using USP and/or ISO 10993 standards for cytotoxicity, having been shown to be non-toxic. The product is RNase/DNase-free and non-pyrogenic, and is sterilized by gamma irradiation.

Store at 15 – 25°C; the scraper remains stable until the expiry date on the manufacturer label. Avoid direct exposure to sunlight and high atmospheric humidity, as these conditions may directly impact the product's packaging over time.
