Cell Scraper, Pivoting Blade, 30 cm

STEMCELL Technologies offers a cell scraper with a pivoting blade designed for harvesting cells or cell lysates in tissue culture applications. The scraper has a 30 cm handle made from acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) and a flexible thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) blade intended to prevent damage to cells and scratching of surfaces. The pivoting blade measures 20 mm and rotates to the desired position, allowing access to all corners of flasks or tissue culture vessels.

The product is suited for use with tissue culture-treated dishes and cell culture flasks, including T-75 cm², T-150 cm², and T-175 cm² formats. Both the ABS handle and the TPE blade meet USP Class VI requirements. The materials are RNase/DNase-free and non-pyrogenic, and all material resins are qualified using USP and/or ISO 10993 standards for cytotoxicity. The scraper is sterilized by gamma irradiation.

It should be stored at 15 – 25 °C and remains stable until the expiry date on the manufacturer label. Direct exposure to sunlight and high atmospheric humidity should be avoided, as these conditions may impact the product's packaging over time.
