Cell Lifter, Flat Blade and J-Hook

This double-ended cell lifter from STEMCELL Technologies is recommended for harvesting, lifting, or resuspending cells in cell culture workflows.

The sterile instrument is manufactured from high-density polyethylene (HDPE) that meets USP, Class VI requirements and is RNase/DNase-free and non-pyrogenic. All material resins are qualified using USP and/or ISO 10993 standards for cytotoxicity and have been shown to be non-toxic, with sterility achieved by gamma irradiation. The flat blade makes even contact with growth surfaces and is ideal for harvesting cells in tissue culture-treated dishes and flat-bottom plates such as 6-well formats, while the narrow J-hook blade can be used to vertically lift cells from 24-well plates.

The total length is 23 cm, with the flat blade measuring 19 mm and the J-hook measuring 9 mm. Storage recommendations are 15 - 25°C; direct exposure to sunlight and high atmospheric humidity should be avoided, as these conditions may directly impact the product's packaging over time. The product remains stable until the expiry date on the manufacturer label.
