Cell Culture Flask, 175 cm_, 40 Flasks

From STEMCELL Technologies, this tissue culture-treated T-175 cm² flask with vent cap is a Corning®-manufactured vessel made from optically clear polystyrene. The shape provides good pipette and cell scraper access to the corners, and the growth surface has been treated for optimal cell attachment. The flask is non-pyrogenic and gamma irradiated, intended for cell culture applications.

The vent cap is molded from blue polyethylene and incorporates a 0.2 µm hydrophobic membrane vent filter. Flask dimensions are 199.8 x 122.9 x 48.1 mm (length x width x depth), with a straight neck of 25.9 x 40.0 mm (inner diameter x outer diameter with threads). The approximate cell growth area is 175 cm², and the recommended working volume is 35 – 52.5 mL. Recommended for use with a variety of cell culture media products, the flask remains stable until the expiry date on the manufacturer label when stored at 15 – 25°C.
