AggreWell 800 24-well, 1pk

Designed by STEMCELL Technologies, AggreWell™800 plates provide an easy and standardized approach to producing embryoid bodies and 3D spheroids from a variety of cell types. As part of the 2nd generation line, they offer the same ease-of-use, uniformity and reproducibility as previous versions, with the added benefit of aligned microwell arrays and improved optical properties for crystal-clear imaging right in the plate.

The 24-well plate features an 800 µm microwell width with a 400 µm depth and a frusto-pyramidal geometry. Each well contains approximately 300 microwells, with a recommended cell range of 3,000 to 20,000 cells per embryoid body or spheroid. The well working volume is 500 µL to 2000 µL. The plate is manufactured from medical grade PMMA, sterilized by electron-beam irradiation, and conforms to ANSI/SLAS 1,2,3,4-2004 standards, with operating conditions from -20°C to 55°C.

These plates are compatible with pluripotent stem cells, mesenchymal stem cells, cancer cells and cell lines. Popular applications include generating 3D cancer spheroids for tumor biology or disease modelling research, and directed differentiation of pluripotent stem cells, including neural induction when used with STEMdiff™ Neural Induction Medium.
