Accutase, 500mL

This gentle cell dissociation enzyme cocktail from STEMCELL Technologies is formulated for routine passaging of adherent mammalian cell lines without the harsh effects of trypsin. The 500 mL bottle contains a ready-to-use mix of proteolytic and collagenolytic activities that cleave adhesion proteins at room temperature, preserving cell surface epitopes critical for downstream flow cytometry, immunohistochemistry, and stem cell workflows.

The reagent is widely adopted for feeder-free maintenance of human pluripotent stem cells, including iPSC and hESC cultures, where minimizing stress-induced differentiation matters. It also supports routine subculture of fibroblasts, HEK293, and other standard lines, delivering single-cell suspensions useful for accurate cell counting and re-plating in cell culture protocols.
