60 mm Gridded Scoring Dish, 500 Dishes

Offered by STEMCELL Technologies, this gridded scoring dish is manufactured by Corning and is sterile, non-pyrogenic, and tissue culture-treated. It is constructed from optically clear polystyrene with a hydrophilic, negatively charged surface that supports optimized cell attachment and growth. The included lid is designed with vents to provide consistent gas exchange, and the dish features an embedded 2 mm grid that allows for easy colony counting. It is conveniently sized to fit most inverted microscope stages and is stackable for easy handling and storage.

The dish is reusable when 35 mm culture dishes are placed inside for scoring of colonies, and assists in counting colonies of hematopoietic progenitor cell assays. With an approximate cell growth area of 21 cm² and a recommended working volume of 4.2 - 6.3 mL, it is suited to cell culture, microscopy, and colony counting applications. Dimensions are 51.4 x 15 mm (diameter x height). The dish is gamma irradiated and should be stored at 15 - 25°C.
