XL413 (Hydrochloride), 10 mg

A cell division cycle 7 (CDC7) kinase inhibitor supplied by STEMCELL Technologies as the hydrochloride salt. The compound selectively inhibits CDC7 kinase with an IC50 of 3.4 nM, a kinase involved in the initiation and maintenance of DNA replication. It has been reported to display selectivity for CDC7 kinase over a panel of 100 kinases.

The product is a crystalline solid with a molecular weight of 326.2 g/mol and the chemical formula C14H12ClN3O2 • HCl (CAS Number: 2062200-97-7). Reported purity is ≥ 98%. When stored at -20°C and protected from prolonged exposure to light, the product is stable as supplied for 12 months from date of receipt. For long-term storage, a desiccant is recommended.

Manufacturer-reported solubility is ≤ 30 mM in PBS (pH 7.2) and ≤ 613 μM in DMSO, and stock solutions should be prepared fresh before use. Published research applications include induction of apoptosis and inhibition of proliferation of human colon adenocarcinoma cells in vitro, as well as attenuation of tumor growth in mice.
