Description
STEMCELL Technologies supplies this reagent as the negative control component for ALDEFLUOR assays. The product contains diethylaminobenzaldehyde (DEAB), an inhibitor used to block aldehyde dehydrogenase (ALDH) activity during the assay. By serving as the required negative control, DEAB enables users to distinguish ALDH-specific signal from background in ALDEFLUOR experiments. The reagent is provided at a concentration of 1.5 mM with a volume of 1 mL.
