XAV939, 25 mg

By inhibiting TNKS activity, the compound increases protein levels of the AXIN-GSK3β complex and promotes degradation of β-catenin in SW480 cells, thereby antagonizing WNT pathway downstream actions. Published applications include inducing cardiomyogenesis in mesoderm progenitor cells derived from mouse embryonic stem cells, promoting induction of forebrain fates in human pluripotent stem cell lines when combined with the SMAD inhibitors LD193189 and SB431542, and inhibiting colony formation of APC-deficient, β-catenin-dependent DLD-1 colorectal cancer cells.
