Worktable mount

Engineered for QIAGEN's automated primary sample preparation workstations, this worktable mount kit anchors sample tubes, reagent vessels, and processing racks on the instrument deck during high-throughput nucleic acid extraction and purification protocols. Fabricated from corrosion-resistant anodized aluminum, the bracket assembly provides a stable, vibration-dampened surface that preserves alignment between primary sample containers and the pipetting head throughout each batch run.

The mount accepts standard SBS-format well plates, conical screw-cap tubes, and primary blood collection vials, integrating directly with the deck layout of compatible QIAGEN primary sample handling modules. Integrated cable management channels and a tool-free quick-release clamping mechanism allow fast changeover between sequential batches without disturbing calibrated deck positions. Engineers installing the fixture should confirm flat surface mounting within 0.5 mm of true level to preserve aspiration accuracy downstream.

Each unit ships as a single hardware kit with stainless-steel M6 fasteners, rubber isolation feet, and a printed alignment template. Surface cleaning is performed with 70% ethanol wipes; the aluminum housing should not be autoclaved. Operating environment should remain between 15°C and 30°C with relative humidity below 80% for optimal dimensional stability of the deck-mounted platform.
