From QIAGEN, this bead beating homogenizer delivers fast and reliable processing of biological samples. The PowerLyzer 24 Homogenizer is designed for efficient homogenization and lysis, processing up to 24 samples in 2 ml tubes in as little as 30 seconds. With true hands-free operation, the instrument eliminates the downtime associated with manipulating samples through multiple manual cycles.

Speed ranges from 500 to 5000 rpm in 100 rpm increments, paired with up to 10 programmable cycle intervals from 1 second to 5 minutes. The system supports up to 99 customizable program settings and accommodates standard 2 ml tubes as well as common grinding bead tubes and lysing matrices. Proprietary high-velocity motion and horizontal tube positioning enable bead beating that grinds samples efficiently while minimizing heat generation, requiring less time, fewer cycles and lower speeds to generate the same results.

The front-loading, space-efficient design measures 13"/33 cm (height) x 15.5"/39.4 cm (width) x 17"/43.2 cm (depth) and weighs 54 lbs (24 kg). The unit operates on a universal 100-230 VAC/50-60 Hz supply at a noise level below 70 dB and is FCC Part 15 and CE compliant. The homogenizer is compatible with DNA and RNA extraction kits.
