RoboSep Service Training Course

Biomedical and field service engineers attend this STEMCELL Technologies service training course to learn installation, qualification, maintenance, and repair procedures for the RoboSep automated immunomagnetic cell separation platform. Delivered as a multi-day program at a STEMCELL facility, the curriculum combines classroom lectures with bench-level exercises on live instruments, covering mechanical subsystems such as the robotic pipetting head, carousel drive, vacuum manifold, and barcode scanner, alongside fluidic calibration with barcode-labeled single-use cartridges, software and firmware navigation through the embedded touchscreen controller, diagnostic troubleshooting for instrument error codes, and preventive maintenance schedules. Trainees verify alignment of the magnet and sipper, perform precision calibration of aspiration and dispense volumes, and execute full qualification protocols including IQ, OQ, and PQ scripts. The course pack includes a printed reference manual, instrument schematics, access to electronic service bulletins, and post-training technical support. Successful completion confers authorized service-provider status, enabling the technician to support customers in academic, clinical research, and bioprocessing laboratories who rely on RoboSep for reproducible isolation of T cells, B cells, NK cells, and progenitors from whole blood, leukapheresis products, bone marrow, and cord blood for research use.
