Corning CoolCell LX Container, Green

Offered by STEMCELL Technologies, this green alcohol-free polyethylene foam freezing container from the Corning® CoolCell® LX line supports standardized, reproducible cryopreservation for most cells and cell lines. When paired with a -80°C freezer, the container delivers a freezing rate of -1°C/minute.

Its non-absorbent polyethylene foam construction, combined with a solid thermo-conductive core, allows for uniform freezing without the use of alcohol. The container holds 12 standard 1-2 mL cryogenic vials and measures 11.7 cm in diameter and 9.9 cm in height, with a well diameter of 12.7 mm. Storage is recommended at 15-25°C; shelf life is not applicable.
