An extended preventative maintenance agreement from STEMCELL Technologies keeps the RoboSep-S automated cell separation platform operating to factory specifications through scheduled proactive service. The plan covers inspection, calibration, and replacement of wear components on the carousel-based pipetting head, fluidics valves, and barcode reader, helping laboratories avoid unplanned downtime during cell isolation runs.

RoboSep-S pairs with EasySep immunomagnetic reagents to deliver fully hands-free isolation of immune cell subsets, including CD3+ T cells, CD4+ and CD8+ T cells, CD19+ B cells, CD14+ monocytes, NK cells, and dendritic cells, from whole blood, buffy coat, bone marrow, or leukopak starting material. The four-position carousel processes up to four samples simultaneously, with positive or negative selection protocols that typically complete in roughly 20 minutes without columns or magnets. The instrument is widely used in immunology research, cell therapy development, transplant studies, and in vitro workflows where reproducibility and operator independence are essential.

This active warranty extends the existing preventative maintenance term on instruments already covered by an active service agreement. Service visits follow the manufacturer's published PM checklist, are performed by trained field engineers, and are logged on the instrument's maintenance record for audit-ready documentation in regulated laboratories. The agreement preserves priority response scheduling, recommended spare-parts coverage, and continued compliance with the published service interval for the duration of the extended term.
