Fully automated immunomagnetic cell separation is now accessible to medium-throughput research laboratories through this benchtop platform from STEMCELL Technologies. The instrument processes up to 16 samples in parallel using single-use cartridges, performing all mixing, incubation, and magnetic washing steps without manual pipetting. Built around the EasySep technology portfolio, it supports positive or negative selection of untouched lymphocytes, T cell subsets, NK cells, and other immune populations from peripheral blood, bone marrow, or splenocyte suspensions. Each carousel position functions as an independent channel, preventing cross-contamination between samples, and the carousel accepts 5 mL or 14 mL tubes for flexibility across small- and mid-scale isolation protocols. The system delivers consistent purity and viability for downstream cell culture, flow cytometry panels, and in vitro functional assays, making it a practical foundation for immunology, transplant, and cell therapy research programs.
