Reagent holder, 3-trough 20 ml

Used with QIAsymphony SP and AS instruments, this QIAGEN 3-trough reagent carrier slides onto the worktable to dispense processing reagents during automated nucleic acid extraction protocols. Each of the three troughs accepts up to 20 mL of buffer, enzyme mix, or magnetic-bead suspension, supporting walk-away batch runs for blood, serum, and primary sample tube inputs. The holder is built from rigid, solvent-resistant polymer so it can carry chaotropic lysis buffers, proteinase K solutions, and ethanol wash reagents without warping, and the trough geometry is matched to the instrument's gripper for reliable transfer from the reagent rack to the processing chamber. Compatible racks accept microplates, reagent cartridges, and single-use elution tubes, making the carrier a flexible component in molecular biology and clinical genomics laboratories. The unit is intended for research use only; clean between protocol runs with deionized water and laboratory detergent, and store at room temperature in the original packaging when not in active service.
