Single-use, pre-assembled cartridges from QIAGEN are engineered for the PyroMark Q24 instrument to perform pyrosequencing reactions. They support reliable fluid handling and optical performance during runs, aiding reproducible assay outcomes.

The cartridges are used together with PyroMark Gold Q24 Reagents and PyroMark Q24 Software. The instrument dispenses the correct volume of enzyme mix, substrate mix, and nucleotides using variable pulse times and dispensing pressures. The settings for these pulse times and dispensing pressures are specific for each lot of cartridge and correspond to the method number printed on the cartridge.
