PBS-MINI Bioreactor Base, 1 Unit

Designed for high-throughput 3D suspension culture of human pluripotent stem cells (hPSCs) and other cell types, the PBS-MINI Bioreactor Base from STEMCELL Technologies is a compact magnetic-drive unit. The base accommodates PBS-MINI single-use vessels, which are available with or without a bottom port. According to manufacturer recommendations, the base unit can be paired with a PBS-MINI 0.1 MAG Single-Use Vessel for culture volumes of 80 mL to 100 mL, set to 35–40 rpm, and with a PBS-MINI 0.5 MAG Single-Use Vessel for volumes of 300 mL to 500 mL, set to 40–45 rpm. The system supports workflows for serum-free suspension culture of hESCs and hiPSCs, as well as scalable 3D suspension processes such as the swirling embryoid body method used in hematopoietic differentiation. A four-way split cable can connect up to four PBS-MINI MagDrive Bioreactor Base Units to a single power source.
