Frozen Cord Blood PT Program - AP, Sprin

From STEMCELL Technologies, this Human Frozen Cord Blood Proficiency Testing Program supplies cryopreserved human cord blood mononuclear cell samples together with MethoCult™ semi-solid culture medium and Iscove's MDM with 2% FBS, supporting standardized colony-forming unit (CFU) assays for participating laboratories. The 10X Plating Density, which is specific to each cell sample and reported on the accompanying session-specific letter, is required for calculating the dilution of the cell stock prior to inoculation.

Following dilution, cells are dispensed into replicate 35 mm culture dishes and incubated at 37°C, 5% CO2, and ≥ 95% humidity for 14 days, after which colonies are enumerated and submitted via the Proficiency Testing Data Submission Forms at www.proficiencytesting.com. The current session is designated 2026H1CBZ, lot 5F4308, with a cell stock value of 3.25E+05 cells/ml. Cells are shipped frozen on dry ice and must be stored at -135°C or colder.
