These 50 mL conical tubes from Eppendorf are designated as DNA LoBind and are certified pyrogen-, DNase-, RNase-, and DNA-free, meeting PCR clean standards. Manufactured from polypropylene with a high-density polyethylene (HDPE) screw cap, the single-use consumables are intended for preparing, mixing, centrifuging, transporting, and storing solid and liquid samples and reagents in research, routine, and training laboratories in the areas of life sciences, industry, or chemistry.

Designed to meet high demands on mechanical resistance during centrifugation, temperature resistance, and chemical resistance, the tubes feature a graduation indicating the filling quantity and a labeling area for content identification. Measuring 116 mm in height and 30 mm in diameter, they can be centrifuged at up to 19,500 × g under specified conditions: centrifugation temperature 4 °C – 25 °C, aqueous sample with density 1.0 g/mL, centrifugation time 90 min, and using suitable rotors or adapters. The operational temperature range is -86 °C to 100 °C, and for storage of aqueous samples at low temperatures, a filling volume of 40 mL (80% of capacity) is recommended.

The tubes are not autoclavable and must not be used with liquid nitrogen. Intended for research use only, they are not suitable for diagnostic or therapeutic applications and should be handled by trained personnel. Prior to use, tubes should be stored in a cool, dry place and protected from direct sunlight and UV light.
