Conical Tubes 15 mL, sterile, bulk500pcs

Single-use conical tubes from Eppendorf, designed for preparing, mixing, centrifuging, transporting and storing solid and liquid samples and reagents in research, routine and training laboratories within life sciences, industry and chemistry. The tubes are suited for cell culture and cell biology applications as well as for sample preparation protocols in microbiology and molecular biology laboratories. They are made of polypropylene with a high-density polyethylene (HDPE) screw cap and are intended for research purposes only; the products are not suitable for use in diagnostic or therapeutic applications.

Each 15 mL tube features a graduation indicating filling quantity and a labeling area for content identification. The tubes are certified sterile (Ph. Eur./USP), pyrogen-free (endotoxin-free), DNase-free, RNase-free, and DNA-free (free of human and bacterial DNA). Operational temperature ranges from -86 °C to +100 °C, and the tubes are not autoclavable. For storage of aqueous samples at low temperatures, fill to 80 % of the filling volume (12 mL) and store upright.

With dimensions of 121 mm in height and 17 mm in diameter, the tubes can be centrifuged at up to 19 500 × g under the specified conditions: centrifugation temperature 4 °C – 25 °C, suitable rotors and adapters, centrifugation time 90 min, aqueous sample with density 1.0 g/mL. The design supports ergonomic, one-handed opening and closing and provides stable upright positioning to minimize contamination risk, while high-quality material and precision molding ensure tightness and reduce sample loss.
