The Antibodies.com Anti-Mouse IgG (H+L) polyclonal secondary antibody is raised in rabbit and affinity-purified to deliver specific detection of murine immunoglobulin heavy and light chains. Supplied as a 1 mg liquid formulation in a single vial, this unconjugated reagent is ready for direct labeling or pairing with a reporter of your choice, including HRP, alkaline phosphatase, and fluorophore conjugates applied in-house.
Validated for western blot, immunohistochemistry, immunoprecipitation, immunofluorescence, and ELISA workflows, the antibody serves as a reliable secondary reagent for primary mouse monoclonals and polyclonals. Recommended starting dilutions are approximately 1:1000 to 1:10000 for western blot and 1:200 to 1:500 for IHC and IF, optimized through titration on the target antigen. Brief storage guidance: aliquot the antibody upon receipt and freeze at -20 degrees C in single-use portions to limit freeze-thaw cycles, with the working stock kept refrigerated at 4 degrees C. Avoid sodium azide when planning HRP-based detection.
Each lot is quality-controlled for cross-reactivity and verified against endogenous mouse immunoglobulin, making the reagent a practical choice for immunology, cell biology, and general research-use-only applications.
