The Antibodies.com Anti-Human IgG (Fc) monoclonal antibody is produced in mouse hosts and specifically recognizes the Fragment crystallizable (Fc) region of human IgG, leaving the antigen-binding Fab domains available for downstream detection. This Fc-selective binding makes the antibody a versatile detection reagent across multiple immunoassay platforms, including western blot, immunohistochemistry, immunoprecipitation, immunofluorescence, and ELISA workflows.
Supplied as a 100 µg liquid formulation in a vial, the unconjugated antibody can be paired with HRP, biotin, fluorophore, or alkaline phosphatase labels to match the experimental readout. The reagent is intended for research use only and is validated for detecting primary antibodies of human IgG isotype in standard immunoassays. Store refrigerated short term, and aliquot before freezing at -20°C to limit freeze-thaw cycles and preserve binding activity over multiple experiments.
