This polyclonal secondary reagent from Antibodies.com is raised in goat and specifically binds both the heavy and light chains (H+L) of rabbit immunoglobulin G, enabling detection of rabbit primary antibodies in standard immunoassays. Conjugation to the Cy3 cyanine fluorophore yields an orange-red fluorescent signal with peak excitation near 550 nm and emission near 570 nm, pairing naturally with DAPI, FITC, and Alexa Fluor 647 channels in multiplex immunofluorescence panels. The antibody is supplied as a 100 µl liquid formulation in a vial, in PBS with stabilizers, and should be handled protected from light to preserve fluorophore integrity. Recommended working dilutions typically range from 1:200 to 1:1000 for immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry on paraffin-embedded sections (IHC-P), immunohistochemistry on frozen sections (IHC-Fr), and immunocytochemistry (ICC). For long-term storage, aliquot the vial and freeze at -20 °C to limit freeze-thaw cycles and loss of fluorescence intensity.
